Certified Yoga Teacher, Mental Health Professional, Outdoor Education Specialist
I have a B.A. in Psychology from California State University San Marcos and an M.A. in Biology from Miami University with a focus on Education. I completed my graduate studies through the San Diego Zoo Global and the Institute for Conservation Research and spent several years writing curriculum and teaching outdoor education with the California State Parks.
Currently I am a Child Development Specialist for children with special needs and their families. I am also a certified trauma-informed yoga teacher (CYT500) as well as a Certified Art Therapy Coach who teaches throughout the Big Bear Valley.
I believe wellness grows through connection to nature (wild) and to yourself (within). Elements like yoga and art are tools to connect to these concepts and encourage personal growth.
Join me, wild outside, grounded within.
